Cross Bend Christian Church

Class Description:
This class is a discussion class focused on doing topical studies.  Topics like marriage, child raising, managing time, etc.  We are a diverse class of both singles and married couples who enjoy studying God’s word and encouraging each other in our spiritual walk.  Our discussions often get lively, but we keep our focus on the word of God.

Lessons:
After finishing our last study (the ABC's of Financial Success), we are embarking on a video series by John Ortberg, entitled, If you want to walk on water YOU'VE GOT TO GET OUT OF THE BOAT.  This exciting video series challenges each of us to take a new look at what Peter did when he left the safety of the boat and went to meet his master as Jesus was walking on ther water.  So ofter we think of Peter's failure, not giving a second thought to the other 11, "Boat Potatoes" that were just sitting back and letting Peter get a deeper relationship with his Lord.  We are being challeged by God in many of our walks to get out of the boat, are you ready?
